Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

KopiRite is also committed to contributing back to the community as a form of appreciation for the support that we have had over the years. We have embarked on CSR efforts in Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines for the last five years in the following aspects:

• donations in kind (KopiRite does not take any cash donations), such as clothing and shoes

• stationery that is either donated by staff or purchased through the company

• in-house donations directed towards children’s education 

• revenue from chartered services, for example airport transfers and local transport services

• equipment for shelter, such as tents, water-proof bags and hygiene equipment

KopiRite has also reached out to needy families with a focus on education of the children. Since 2010, we have sponsored students from junior level to MSc to complete their education. The company has adopted a boy and will sponsored him for a year with company funding. There are many more of such children in need; we hope to support more children with the community’s help in future.

In 2024, we started donations to Children's Cancer Society.

All CSR efforts are self-funded through an Initiative we termed as PETER after a prominent figure in the New Testament of the Bible.

P stands for Project

E stands for Educate [We educate, to earn a salary]

T stands for To

E stands for Educate/ Employ - We use the funds from educating/ lecturing to educate directly or fund education. We also use the funds to provide short-term employment at our humble shop in Singapore to those in need.

R stands for rehabilitate or recover - we help those in need to recover through active positive reinforcements and emotional support and in a small way help to rehabilitate those who need help.  In our endeavor to contribute to the Children's Cancer Society we hope to play our part in helping our little 'gifts of God' to recover or in their rehabilitation.

Do consider sponsoring a friend or loved one or even a stranger to one of our courses or mental wellness programs or a Goal Setting exercise which would have an impact on the recipient.
